On the 14th of June an information session was held for all the civil engineering students that are interested in joining the study tour 2024. During the session we talked about the destinations of the study tour, Taiwan and Australia. We gave some background information about the culture, climate, hotspots and the civil engineering workfield in both countries.

We also covered the study aspect of the study tour. The educational program was discussed, which is worth 10 EC. It covers 5 weeks of education at the University, some assignments that need to be done during the trip and the final symposium at the end of the study tour. The educational program is still in a Macro, Meso and Micro study. On top of that the contract research was explained, which is something each participant has to do next to the education program.
